Plumpy'Nut Appeal - Look what you did!

Last month, We shared the urgent need to get two containers of life-saving Plumpy’Nut to Uganda. One was funded, the second wasn’t, and we asked if you could help us bridge the gap so we could fund both.

You responded with extraordinary generosity. Together, you gave over $9600 – over 95% of our target – and in light of the urgency, our wonderful partners at Edesia have kindly offered to cover the remaining shortfall. This means we can now move ahead with both containers – 3,420 cartons of life-saving therapeutic food for children facing severe acute malnutrition.

The shipping process is already underway and, all being well, both containers will leave in the coming weeks. Each carton represents a course of life-saving treatment for a child like Monica Grace or Given Ryan, who have both recovered from severe acute malnutrition in recent months thanks to Plumpy’Nut. Your support will enable us to reach thousands of others still waiting for that same chance.
